August 4, 1927:   "LOST-- Between Dairy and Sprague River, practically new 30 x 3 1/2 Oversize Wearwell Cord casing with spare rack.  Tail light and license plate.  Reward.  Notify Sprague River Garage."   (The Evening Herald)
August 25, 1927:   Dan Wann recorded the deeds for Block 14, Lots 1 and 2 after the purchase of the property from Oregon Utilities Company.   (Klamath County Clerk's Office Records)
August 16, 1928:   "Dan Wann of Sprague River is building a fine garage and service station on Main street and expects to have it completed in a few weeks."   (The Klamath News)
September 25, 1928:   "The building for the garage was purchased from Dan Wann of the Wolford & Wann store in the new reservation city, and will be finished and completely equipped, including a modern workshop and parts and accessories department."   (The Klamath News)
November 20, 1928:   "Mr. Benson, who recently purchased the Sprague River garage, has fitted up a wrecker.  Due to weather conditions, the roads have become very slippery, and he reports that several calls have been made upon him already for service in pulling cars out of the ditch."   (The Klamath News)
July 31, 1929:   "Ceryl Benson and A. Farnsworth operate the Sprague River garage."   (The Klamath News)
August 18, 1936:   "Recently Harry Short of McDoel, Calif., purchased the Sprague River Garage and property from Dan Wann and has established himself in business here.  The W. C. Pankey family who were living in the garage until it was sold, have moved across the river to the John Pitt place."   (The Klamath News)
April 30, 1937:   "The Sprague River garage installed a new electric gasoline pump this week."   (The Klamath News)
September 8, 1938:   "The Sprague River garage and two service stations remained standing."  After the fire that razed the majority of the business district.   (The Klamath News)
October 28, 1938:   "The Sprague River garage has installed a new electric gasoline pump and air compressor."   (The Klamath News)
August 5, 1941:   "The Sprague River garage and Detwiler and Wolford residences and Moores store and cabins received coats of new paint this week."   (The Klamath News)
1942:   Modification of lease agreement with the Standard Oil Corporation for September 1, 1938 through August 31, 1943 for Lots 1 and 2, Block 14, Original Town of Sprague River, Oregon;  50 feet on east side of Main street and 140 feet on south side of 4th street.
      Modification:  "Lessee shall have the right to terminate this lease at any time after March 1, 1942, and during the balance of the term thereof or any extensions or renewals thereof, upon giving Lessor thirty (30) days notice in writing of Lessee's intention so to do."   (Klamath County Clerk Records)
February 28, 1942:   "Harry Short, proprietor of the Sprague River garage, has returned home from a Klamath Falls hospital after undergoing a siege of severe illness.  His condition is reported to be improving rapidly."   (The Klamath News)
March 18, 1942:   "The condition of Harry Short, who has been quite ill for the last three weeks, is reported to be improving."   (The Klamath News)
January 11, 1943:   "Harry Short, formerly of MacDoel, but now of Sprague River, has leased his garage there and is leaving for Portland to take a defense job."   (Herald and News)
June 12, 1945:   "Mr. and Mrs. Williams are moving into the garage and apartment here.  They recently made the purchase from Harry Short, the former property owner."   (Herald and News)
