December 11, 1926: "Reconstruction of the Chiloquin-Sprague river section of the Klamath Telephone and Telegraph company is assured early next year. J. H. Hessig, president of the company, stated yesterday at a hearing before the public service commission.

Complaint against the service of this section of the line, voiced by W. Mattson, connected with the Campbell-Towle Lumber company, brought the announcement from Mr. Hessig." (The Evening Herald)
